If there is one thing that I know I love, it’s the fact that I was born and raised in a big city.
From the day I was born I have always had plenty of access to a diverse group of friends and endless activities to do day in and day out.
Contrary to popular belief however, living in this city isn’t always sunshine and rainbows. In fact for everything that I love about living in this city there are at least two things that I can’t stand! That might be exaggerating a little bit but there are a few things that drive me crazy every day. One of the things that drives me off the wall most often is without a doubt the traffic on my morning commute. Every single morning while I am making my way to work I end up getting stuck in an insane amount of traffic. Even with the air conditioning running on high in my old car the temperature always starts to rise. It gets extremely hot and humid and there really isn’t much you can do about it. There was even a point in time where the air conditioning unit broke down in my car and the temperature would reach all the way to the high 90’s at times. Luckily for me I always bring a change of clothes to change into once I reach work. It’s not always fun and glamorous, but in my opinion dealing with the traffic is worth it if it means I get to live in this amazing city.
