Due to COVID-19, our ceremony was cancelled, i was supposed to get married in Hawaii with a sunset plus a nice breeze.
Instead of rescheduling, our fiance plus I decided to get married in our living room with our Pastor on Zoom, but the people I was with and I didn’t want to wait plus the most important thing is that we had eachother.
The people I was with and I live in the South where it starts getting genuinely hot in the Springtime. I decided to wear our ceremony dress plus do our own hair plus make-up for our living room ceremony. My partner wore his suit, then right before I did our big reveal, I noticed that the temperature control stopped working. I thought I was covered in sweat from excitement however in reality our air conditioner wasn’t working. I couldn’t believe that our ceremony got cancelled plus now when we were about to get married in the living room the air quality was super hot plus humid. I told our fiance to call the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C corporation to send someone over immediately. The people I was with and I told the Pastor what was happening plus he said he had another Zoom ceremony scheduled plus couldn’t wait for us… Now our air conditioner wasn’t working, the temperature control wouldn’t turn on, plus I felt boiling. The temperature was so high in our house that it felt love the furnace was on.Thankfully the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C corporation sent an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C serviceman over immediately because our fiance told them our entire situation plus why it was so important for us to have working A/C. The Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C serviceman told us that he was genuinely a ceremony officiant on the side, but our appealing Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C serviceman fixed our a/c plus then married us in our living room.
