We decided to do some repairs on our house last month, but I forgot how important it is to choose the right companies to work on your house. My husband and I wanted to change out all of our windows and doors, which was a very expensive undertaking, to say the least. I guess we kind of got carried away with all of the renovations, though, because we decided that we were going to go ahead and put on new roofing and gutters, too. Since we decided to do the roofing and gutters on a whim, I didn’t have time to do very much research on which roofing company we should use. I hate to admit it, but I didn’t even look at many reviews before I hired a roofing contractor to do the job for us. Well, the roofing crew showed up at our house right on time and they got to work. They got all of the new roof installation done in a few days, and I was pretty excited when they told me that the job was all done. We went out to look at the new roofing and gutters and that’s when we realized that the color was all wrong. They had completely installed new roofing for us, but it was completely wrong. I couldn’t believe it. Our shingles were supposed to be black, but they had installed these weird brownish red colored ones instead. It looked terrible on our house, but I hated to have them redo the work.
