The many benefits of an HVAC job.

Going away to school was never something I was genuinely interested in.

I had been for my whole life, by our folks plus our educators, that we were supposed to go to school, then go away to university.

Getting a school degree was drilled into our head as the most crucial thing I could do, and then when it all happened and I did go away for school I realized I had no interest in it, I was doing it because I had been told to! At that point I decided to find my own path in life, which ultimately led me here, to being a heating and cooling serviceman. You may be thinking “why would he quit school to work on cooling systems, is he a moron?” Well I might be a moron, however me being an heating and A/C tech was everything I wanted. I could get my heating and A/C certification and finally start working full time within 18 months, plus I wouldn’t go underwater in loan debt doing it! Once I landed a gig as a heating and A/C tech I would start off with fantastic pay plus solid benefits, which would only get better over time. Another thing I wanted from a career was being able to leave my work at the company at the end of the day, and heating and A/C also gives me that. I work very hard, however when it’s time to go home I don’t think about heating or cooling systems until the next morning when I go back in! My free time is sacred to me, and my heating and A/C work never seems to intrude on it.
