The RV didn’t have good heat and air

So it turns out the chalet burned down in addition to no one noticed.

Admittedly, things have been insane since the pandemic began, but usually all of us decide to go up to stay in the chalet every month together.

With the quarantine, we all stopped going. At some point over the last couple months, the chalet got hit by a tree, caught fire, in addition to burning down. Thank goodness the fire did not spread into the woods, or other nearby chalets. We still wanted to spend some time out there, in addition to seeing what was salvageable, so all of us borrowed a friend’s RV. Like most RVs it had a temperature control unit in it, but it was old, in addition to if the engine wasn’t running the heating was lackluster. When I say “the engine was active” idling was not enough. If you wanted the heat to blast, you had to be driving. This wasn’t useful when it came to sleeping overnight, so all of us had to do the best all of us could in addition to use a wood fire outside for heating our food in addition to keeping us warm. When it was time to go to sleep, the coldest part of the day, we’d use blankets in addition to our own body heat to keep us alive through the night. The chalet was a total loss, in addition to the heating situation the RV was less than optimal, so all of us did our best to repair the chalet as quickly as possible.
