I have a really close friend, we like a lot of the same things like sports, video games and technology. Because of this, he is frequently visiting my place for some video game competitions and sports watching. I also love to gamble with him, because I am good at calling his bluff. Anyways, I realized that he is coming over to my place, so I asked if we could hang out at his place for once. He didn’t seem to mind, so after work, I came by to visit for our usual. When I walked into his house, I was shocked! The first thing I was greeted with was a big gust of heat. While it wasn’t cool outside, it wasn’t even worse inside of his house! It was at least 80 degrees in his house. It felt like a furnace in there! A great way to describe it is having your heating system on all day on the highest setting. I don’t think he even had any air conditioning. The second thing I noticed was the big piles of trash piling all over in his house. Now I am in no means a clean and organized person, I would say I am a messy and disorganized person myself, but his place crosses the line in my opinion. Dirty plates piled up next to his TV, and heaps of trash that I have to step over to even get somewhere. Don’t even get me started on the smell, it smelled awful in there. For once, he was able to beat me in both of the video games and gambling, because I could barely focus due to smell, heat and just dirtiness. I mean I even saw a few bugs scurry by! One thing is for sure, I won’t be visiting his place anytime soon.
