My husband works as an HVAC technician here in town and he’s been doing it for years now.
He is really good at his job, and his customers really love him.
Sometimes I wonder why he doesn’t get tired of doing this job because to me, it seems like he’s out there doing the same old thing day in and day out. He installs new furnaces and air conditioning systems for clients, and then he also goes out and does maintenance work for those same clients whenever they happen to need it. He does repairs on heating, cooling, and ventilation systems and then once in a while he will have to go out and do a ductwork cleaning or the installation of a whole home air purification system. He says that he likes doing those the most, for some reason. When I asked him why he liked installing air purification systems, he told me that it’s because he really likes to feel like he’s helping people. Whenever he installs a whole home air purification system to run at the same time as someone’s heating and cooling system, then he knows that he’s doing his part to help improve their family’s indoor air quality in their home. I thought that was sweet! That’s a good reason to enjoy your job, I suppose. Maybe that’s why he doesn’t ever get tired of it and I can definitely understand that. I’m glad that he’s able to do a job that he actually enjoys doing instead of having to work somewhere that he hates.
