Valentine’s Day is supposed to be a day of love.
It involves romance that makes almost everyone who doesn’t have someone to love, depressed.
All of my friends had significant others. I was the only a single in our group who didn’t have anyone. When they planned on having a Valentine’s Day celebration, I turned down the invitation. I didn’t want to be the only a single there that didn’t have a plus a single. They told myself and others that I could bring my sibling if I wanted, despite the fact that I had to be there. I was afraid this was going to be another set-up, which I didn’t want. I called my best friend, LInda, & asked if she wanted to go to a celebration with me. I explained about the celebration & how I thought I was being set up. Since she didn’t have a date either, she went with me. When every one of us got there, I found out that there wasn’t a set-up, except for the oil furnace. They had been having trouble with the oil furnace in their apartment. They didn’t want to spend the cash to call the Heating & Air Conditioning supplier so they wanted myself and others to do the work. They knew I was an Heating & Air Conditioning professional, so she didn’t want to call myself and others while I was working. This was her way to get a free oil furnace repair. Linda & I stuck around for the celebration & every one of us were having a absolutely wonderful time. At the end of the evening she turned to myself and others & said it was a shame the oil furnace hadn’t broken. Everyone prefers a little cuddling. She provided myself and others a hug, & I couldn’t let go..
