I can’t tell you how grateful I am for the kindness of other people at particular points in my life.
Nobody ever helped me with the financial or educational part of becoming a grown adult and parent.
This is why I am still constantly learning about applicable skills that I need to develop. Thank God, I have people like my neighbor who are able to help. The man first came to the rescue when my heating system broke down in the middle of a blizzard several years ago. I had no idea that my forced air furnace was in need of a professional heating, cooling, and air quality control appointment before the moment that hot air stopped passing through my vents. Suddenly, it became obvious that there was something wrong with my indoor air handling device system and I was not capable of tackling the furnace issue. This is when I packed up my kids and we stopped at my neighbor’s house to beg for some warm. The man kindly let us inside and sat my kids down in front of his fireplace. As they warmed up in front of the traditional wood burning fireplace, he helped me call the local heating, cooling, and air quality control repair shop. He told me to request an emergency repair service and a general HVAC inspection. Then, he took the time to educate me on indoor air handling devices. When the HVAC company was leaving after completing the furnace repair, I even found out that my neighbor had picked up the heating and cooling repair bill for me. Bless that man and his heating system knowledge.
