She gave an ultimatum; zone controlled or bust

When I met my husband I knew immediately that I wanted to marry her. This was undoubtedly unusual for me, because I didn’t believe that I wanted to marry anybody. I easily thought that I was going to live my life as a ecstatic Bachelor, free from any problem with any romantic relationship or lifelong partner. Instead, I wound up getting married when I was 22 years old, and given, I was way too young to get hitched. However, I quickly found out that there were multiple things I did not understand about adult relationships. Namely, compromise is extremely important, just became apparent as soon as we tried to establish a central heating, cooling, plus ventilation system program together, you see, as soon as we moved in together we were excited to make a undoubtedly comfortable house, all the way down to our indoor air temperature plus air quality. Both of us stood in front of the thermostat together plus began trying to program the bi-weekly temperature equipment settings into the digital air quality control system. This is when we first started bickering about our diverse opinions on indoor air temperature preferences. Apparently, we reside on unusual ends of the temperature spectrum when it comes to ideal air quality! My husband was willing to compromise by a few degrees, however I was unwilling to change my temperature opinion at all. This Heating plus A/C confrontation went on for the next more than five weeks, as my husband insisted that we talked about compromising on the heating plus cooling units… Eventually, it got so bad that he gave me an ultimatum – we agree on the heating plus cooling settings, or he leaves, but obviously, I finally gave in on the thermostat issue plus we’ve been married for 30 years.
