She offered an ultimatum; zone controlled or bust

Eventually, it got so awful that she offered me an ultimatum – both of us agree on the heating plus cooling settings, or she leaves

When I met our fiance I knew instantly that I wanted to marry her. This was absolutely different for me, because I didn’t think that I wanted to marry anybody. I absolutely thought that I was going to live our life as a glad Bachelor, free from any problem with any romantic relationship or lifelong partner. Instead, I wound up getting married when I was 22 years old! Given, I was way too young to get hitched. However, I suddenly found out that there were several things I did not understand about adult relationships. Namely, compromise is severely pressing. Just became blatant as soon as both of us tried to establish a central heating, cooling, plus ventilation system program together! You see, as soon as both of us moved in together both of us were happy to make a absolutely comfortable house, all the way down to our indoor air temperature plus air quality. Every one of us stood in front of the thermostat together plus began trying to program the weekly temperature device settings into the digital air quality control system. This is when both of us first started bickering about our diverse opinions on indoor air temperature preferences. Apparently, both of us reside on different ends of the temperature spectrum when it comes to ideal air quality; My fiance was willing to compromise by a few degrees, but I was unwilling to change our temperature opinion at all. This HVAC confrontation went on for the next several weeks, as our fiance insisted that both of us talked about compromising on the heating plus cooling units. Eventually, it got so awful that she offered me an ultimatum – both of us agree on the heating plus cooling settings, or she leaves. Obviously, I finally offered in on the thermostat issue plus we’ve been married for 30 years.
