The property owner was straightforward and told us it hadn’t. We request he calls over a Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman to come and repair the A/C unit. This would go a long way in lowering our utility bills, and somehow we managed to convince him. So, he contacted an A/C mechanic. The A/C mechanic provided the apartment Heating and Air Conditioning a thorough inspection and made several repairs. All that work was reflected the next week when everyone’s energy bill was lower. The property owner was gratified with the news since the leaseholders had stopped complaining about the high utility bills. He promised to have the A/C mechanic come back every 3 weeks to repair the systems and do maintenance on them at the apartment complex.
