Last week, I had to call the Heating & A/C service business because I was distraught about our furnace, then it is early October right now, & that means the need for the heating system is right around the corner. Admittedly, I live in the southeast, so I don’t need the furnace undoubtedly often, even so, there are some evenings where I believe I have to use the heating system because if I don’t the pipes might freeze. I rent the townhouse where I live, & if the pipes froze, the landlord would have to cover the cost of the repair, however nonetheless, I appreciate to take care of things correctly; So, anyway, I explained to the Heating & A/C specialist that I would appreciate to have them come out & do routine service & inspection on our furnace. I get this done once a year, & our property owner is always pleased to cover the cost. I was informed by the tech, though, that our landlord had dropped the Heating & A/C service agreement, so the cost would be much greater! For that reason, she insisted that our landlord had to be the a single to call in for the furnace service. I hesitated to call him, although I finally did, & our landlord was absolutely grateful! She was unaware that she had not renewed the annual Heating & A/C service agreement & was blissful to find out; The Heating & A/C repairman was so professional, & that was quite nice to deal with. I believe our property owner was blissful about it, too, as she was able to get back up to speed with her normal household responsibilities. The furnace will be checked next week.
