Replacing the a/c Unit in our Older Home

I own a historic apartment that is now almost 100 years old.

I really appreciate the quaint little house, & to be honest, it hardly ever needs any repairs.

I swear they just made stuff better back then. I hired someone to put in a petgy door for me, & she told me she could barely even cut through the wood because it was so hard. Of course, I have to paint correctly, & once or twice I have had to have the hardwood floors maintained, however other than that, service has been minimal. When I go to move into it myself, I will get toil done to the windows or get them replaced, although I don’t spend anything on that now. That’s why, when the property supervisor called me last week, I wasn’t too upset, even though she was calling me about the heating & cooling. The renter had complained about high quarterly bills & the house not getting cool enough, so she called in the heating & cooling service lady. She is the only Heating & A/C service business in town, but she does a fantastic job, & I am pretty sure she is honest. Anyway, she informed me that our a/c was absolutely twenty-several years old! I had no plan it was that old, although I did buy the house 18 years ago, & the a/c & furnace are the same a singles that were in it when I purchased the house. So I think that makes sense. Well, I can’t complain about replacing the a/c when it is 25 years old, can I?
