I own a little house in a kitchen community of the major city in our area.
- The little neighborhood where my house is situated will likely never become overcrowded, as the college system is not all that great, and until they service their college troubles, people with families will not be interested in moving there; Nonetheless, I bought a house there 18 years ago.
I had all sorts of troubles come up about several years later, and I had to transfer out. I didn’t sell the home; instead, I began using it as a rental. I have been renting it out ever since then. I system to use it as my retirement home, and I am renting until I transfer back into it. Anyway, I still have to maintain the home, obviously. The most regular cost is yard maintenance. That has to be done on a regular basis. But the greatest cost has been Heating, Ventilation, and A/C. The heating and cooling device was old when I bought the house; During the several years I lived in it, I had to replace the air duct twice because stray pets found a way under my house and ripped the ducts to shreds. Then, I was air conditioner the whole world instead of just my house, while occupants have been there, I have had to repair the air conditioner several times, as well. Eventually, the heating and cooling contractor owner informed myself and others that he was no longer able to get parts for my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C device and I would have to replace the air conditioner. I hated to do it, however I had to area with a few thoUSnds dollars to get the up-to-date air conditioner. The enjoyable news is that he provided myself and others a bit of a price break!
