I made sure to get the fireplace going so everybody could relax and feel perfectly comfortable.
When the weatherman said we would get about 6 inches of snow, I had no idea what we were in for. The snow was a lot more than that, we got about 3 feet in a single night! The snow just kept on coming down and we were shoveling and snow blowing constantly it seemed. All I can say is that it wasn’t easy to keep up with all of it and I just wanted to relax with the heating system. The roads basically were shut down in our area and it was entirely quiet and peaceful. We didn’t hear all the cars coming through like usual and it was kind of nice for a change. We didn’t need anything important from the store and everybody was able to stay home. I made sure to get the fireplace going so everybody could relax and feel perfectly comfortable. The next day after we had all the snow cleared away as best as possible, we all decided to go sledding down the hills in the back! It was so much fun because our hills are pretty long and you can go a good way before the sled finally comes to a stop. It was also wonderful getting back inside from having a good time. We were greeted with my wife’s hot cocoa and it was amazing sipping on that while relaxing in front of the fireplace. And if you didn’t guess, as soon as we were all warmed up again, we got back outside and took another round at sledding down the back hills! I honestly just wanted an excuse to get more hot cocoa, but it was truly an enjoyable time with the family.
