For the first few years of living with my wife on our own, we didn’t have much money. The money that we did make from our jobs ended up going mostly to the rent, and the rest went to food and other important supplies. During that time we were living in a very old and run down apartment in the city. This apartment was or we could have fought at the time, and it was truly miserable to live in at times. Along with the constant roaches, during the summer the air conditioning unit would constantly break down on us. Rather than calling a local heating and Cooling repair company, we would look up creative ways to fix it because we didn’t have the money to hire somebody to do it. Luckily for my wife and I, those days are long behind us and we both have very high paying jobs and even a child now. With that extra money that we make these days, we have invested it in a state-of-the-art air conditioning unit for our house. Out of all the new fancy things that we have upgraded past 4 years, this air conditioning unit is the best. It keeps us super cooled off even on the warmest of summer days, and it is very environmentally friendly and energy efficient. Some days living in that dingy old apartment so many years ago it felt like we were never going to get out of there, but looking back now it is amazing to see just how far we have come in life!
