Seven months ago, the company I worked for asked if I wanted to toil in AK? I knew they were doing a lot of temporary toil up north, so I agreed to go. I figured that I would be there a month, maybe multiple weeks. I legitimately figured wrong. I was sent up north in May, and I was still there at Christmas. The weather had changed so suddenly during the last four months that our head was reeling. There was no way I was able to get warm. I was given the number of the local Heating and Air Conditioning company, whom I suddenly called. After explaining the situation and how I did not even think I was going to be there by Christmas, I asked him to please get to the apartment as suddenly as possible! Just going out of our apartment to the truck and going to work, had me shivering in our shoes. The truck was quick to warm up, although I wasn’t warmed up by the time I got to work. They had excellent heating in the office building, although I knew that I was soon going to have to leave the office and go home. All I wanted was for our furnace, at home, to give me the same kind of heat as I had at the office. When the Heating and Air Conditioning professional arrived at our house, I couldn’t have been happier. It took him an minute to clean the furnace, and to get it tuned up. By the time she was done, the heat was even better than what we have in the office building.
