My brothers were able to go out and do some snow skiing, while I spent the holiday laying by the fireplace and helping mom
My parents decided that they wanted to spend the holidays in the middle of the woods, in a lodge. I suppose that could have been the worst Christmas both of us had ever had. I say it could have, because our parents made it nice for us. Although there was no Heating, Ventilation, and A/C in the lodge, there was a substantial fireplace. I was never one who easily enjoyed the cold, because I could not get moderate once I got cold. With a fireplace, I would grab the seasoned afghan off the couch and cuddle up right near the fireplace. At one point, I thought I would spend our entire holiday laying by the fireplace. I knew our mom wasn’t thrilled about our choice, however there was just no way I was able to get warm, however Mom stoked the fireplace and put plenty of wood on it to keep it burning throughout our entire holiday. Although I hate to confess it, both of us easily did have an amazing holiday and that seasoned lodge. I could not suppose of any locale Roy would rather be at that moment laying in the dining room with mom or enjoyable in front of the fireplace.When our brothers came in from outside, they hastily joined me on the sofa in front of the fireplace. Our mom sat down at the seasoned piano and started playing Christmas carols, while Mom made hot peach cider. May not have been the best Christmas both of us ever had, however it was the most memorable.
