The holidays are almost on top of us, not that you could tell from the weather.
Some years ago I moved to the deep south area of the country, as well as ever since then the winters have not been the same.
I am still decreasing to the way holidays go down around here. Namely, the fact that the people I was with and I usually spend Christmas afternoon in shorts as well as flip flops, as well as sometimes the people I was with and I even go swimming or have a cookout. When I lived up north that never happened once in all my life, because all through the Wintertide the people I was with and I were stuck inside next to the heater, however down here there is no need for heating, as well as if anything the people I was with and I will be required to use the a/c at some point. I never would have imagined needing to use the AC on Christmas afternoon, however that is what my life has come to. It was pressing to my fiance, who said it was so warm that it didn’t believe care about Christmas ,so I got up in the middle of the night as well as turned the thermostat as low as it would go. I closed off the air vents to every other room however the kitchen, to try as well as channel that cooling into a small area near the Christmas tree. When she woke up, she was so cold she wore slippers as well as a robe. She had to stand under an air vent to maintain the illusion, however for an hour or many on Christmas afternoon the people I was with and I pretended care about it was a unbelievable aged fashioned Christmas. Then the people I was with and I made the decision to go to the beach.
