Trying to go for radiant heating in our home

I most definitely plan to redo the floors in my property plus when that happens, I am going to get radiant heating.

My partner definitely likes the idea of all the flooring in my property being the same.

He wants the home office, kitchen, hallway plus family room all to be the same porcelain, grey tile. I sincerely am not too keen on this particular idea, despite the fact that he wants it plus is willing to cover the cost for it. I did a small amount of reading online plus tile is definitely the best type of flooring for radiant heating. Carpet works to trap the heat plus makes it not as effective. Wood flooring is the better option, however not amazing for this heating system! The only way to get radiant heating is to rip up the flooring plus upgrade it with new. The two of us are doing that! It feels essentially like fate is telling me I need this heating equipment. Since my partner is covering the tile bill, I am totally willing to do the heating installation bill. I did some major searching online, and I can actually get the electric heated mats at my local hardware store rather than a Heating plus A/C equipment dealer. I also don’t need to hire a Heating plus A/C equipment professional to do the installation either! Seemingly if you chose to do hydronic heating, which requires piping plus a boiler, you need a Heating plus A/C equipment worker, electric radiant flooring is basically just laying mats down on the floorboard before the tile is put down. I watched various youtube videos plus it looks genuinely straight forward. My partner told me all that work is totally on me. If both of us tile over the mats plus they are not working, that will be my fault completely. So no pressure or anything right?
