As a little kid I always appreciated going to our Grandparents while I was in our Summer breaks.
My and I would spend our afternoons helping Grandpa around the property in addition to reading how to repair the aged cars that he would pick up.
I never would have guessed that I would become so fascinated with those same type of cars. I work at an auto shop in addition to repair client cars all day long so you would suppose that I would want to escape this once I am home, however, I come house in addition to spend another two to three hours tinkering with our late model cars too. Most of our cars, unlike Grandpa’s, are new enough to have air conditioner however. I take them to motorcar shows in addition to I absolutely care about this feature when I am parked in the middle of a large parking lot or out to the field. If I get too moderate I can simply start up the engine and eventually turn on the air conditioner to cool off for a bit. My Grandpa constantly tells myself and others that our cars are superb, but that they are not “real” antiques. I don’t mind him giving myself and others a tough time because he still gets super happy when he sees what I have done to restore the a singles I have. He says that I am obsessed with having the air conditioner but I don’t really care either. I am, in a way, obsessed with it because I don’t care about the plan of being uncomfortable 24/7. When travelling to shows I don’t consistently want the windows down either because it can get the inside of the truck nasty in addition to I want it in pristine condition when I arrive at the location.
