All I wanted was something to drink

I had gone to the sink for a glass of water, but there wasn’t any water.

I said something to our spouse, hoping that there wasn’t a complication with our well. An hour later, he told myself and others to call our son Sam. There wasn’t any water anywhere in the house, and now the gas furnace wasn’t running. It was getting freezing in the house, without the gas furnace running that I was start to shiver. When Sam got there, he went right to toil on getting the boiler laboring. Apparently, instead of first looking to see if there was a complication with the water going to the sink, he had shut everything down, and he first looked at the well pump. He forgot that not having water meant that both of us wouldn’t have heat, since both of us have a boiler gas furnace. Our heat is delivered through water pipes and the heat is transferred from the baseboard gas furnaces to the floor. Sam was stressed helping him check the water pump, while I was packing up to go to our daughter’s until the water was on, and the boiler was running again. My spouse called a couple hours later and told myself and others that I had to option him up. The two of us were going to a hotel for the night. Sam had a crew of workers at our house, trying to fix the pump so he could get the gas furnace running for heat. He promised the gas furnace would be running and both of us would have heat, by mid-morning. In the meantime both of us were supposed to relax in a moderate hotel.
