It was a Sunday day and our spouse was testing the gas furnace.
- I always have to laugh when he does his pre-service service.
He wants to recognize what is wrong with the gas furnace before the Heating and A/C business comes in so he doesn’t recognize like he is getting ripped off. Anyway, when he did the testing, he told myself and others that the gas furnace looked good to him, and the next time I had a chance, he wanted myself and others to call the Heating and A/C dealer. Normally, I would write this down so I don’t forget, although I had a deadline to reach at work. I had numerous late nights laboring with our crew and trying to get all the details laid out on the redprints. Two weeks later, the redprints were complete and then both of us had to take the redprints to the designer so he could coordinate everything. Once everything was complete, both of us took the model, redprints and design plans to the owner of the building both of us were constructing. After more than 3 weeks had gone by, I still wasn’t thinking about the gas furnace and I hadn’t made the cellphone call. When I got beach house that night, our spouse asked myself and others about the Heating and A/C dealer. He was entirely perturbed that I hadn’t called the Heating and A/C as of yet. He knew how stressed I was and he knew that all he had to do was to remind me. I ended up yelling at him that he could have made the cellphone hisself. I stopped mid-sentence as I realized what I was saying. My spouse was deaf and he couldn’t hear on the telephone.
