He took the outer lodgeet off and found a significant buildup of dust inside. There was mold growing on the cooling coil and algae thriving in the condensate drain. My husband spent all afternoon carefully cleaning all of the components. When he put the cooling system back together, I doubted that the cooling method would start up. However, it ran perfectly. The complaints with cooling capacity, comfort and air quality were solved. I was able to cancel our appointment with the HVAC company and save that currency.
