Geothermal HVAC reminds me of earlier times

There are days when it seems like I’m older than I really am.

It’s sort of been that kind of life.

Trying to start, build and maintain a successful business took a lot out of me. These days, I don’t have to worry so much with the daily operations inside the zone controlled HVAC of the office. I’ve actually sold off most of my interest in the company and now just sit on the board. That works for me but there is still so much life left to lead and I’m learning to fill those days and years with new passions. I’m 56 and, if I’m lucky, I have a lot of life to live. It’s just my wife and I. She’s still engaged in her work on a daily basis. While she’s not inside the zone controlled HVAC everyday as she works remotely for the most part, she’s still full time with work. So we decided that I’d be the one to take on the day to day as we built a house that fit our needs more appropriately. The big house was just that, big and too big for two people. It was meant for a family. So with this new house, we made the space significantly smaller and more efficient. We went all in with the efficiency as well when it came to the heating and cooling. The HVAC unit we chose was the geothermal heat pump. And we couldn’t be more pleased with just how it turned out. Thanks to an expert HVAC professional, we have the best heating and cooling we’ve experienced. And the radiant floor heating reminds me of my days back in college where I had to open the window during the winter due to the radiant heating in the dorm.
