Indoor air quality is sort of a new concept to me.
And there were plenty of misconceptions when it came to air pollutants that had to be erased. I just figured that since I lived out in the country, the air in my house was super clean. The air outside is super scrub so it only made sense to me that the indoor air conditions was good. What compounded that misunderstanding was the fact that I always change the air filter on the Heating plus Air Conditioning each week. And each week, I see dirt plus dust on the Heating plus Air Conditioning air filter. Again, my mind goes right to the fact that this air filter was legitimately cleaning the air since it was catching dirt plus dust. For sure, there are HEPA filters out there that are actively cleaning the air. But I never spent the currency on those. My air filters were just protecting the health of the Heating plus Air Conditioning equipment. So when my doctor suggested that I get my Heating plus Air Conditioning ductworks cleaned because she suspected poor indoor air conditions, I was confused. I’d had a series of colds plus stuff that lingered. So the doctor said I should improve the indoor air conditions with ductwork cleaning. I did what she said plus was so pleased at the results. Not only did my respiratory stuff clear up plus not come back. I ended up saving currency on Heating plus Air Conditioning utility costs due to the ductwork resealing after the ductwork cleaning was done. I didn’t have a clue just how much Heating plus Air Conditioning treated air was getting wasted due to all the gaps in our dirty ductworks.
