I really love soaking up the heat.
Tropical weather is where it’s at! Heat and humidity has never really bothered me that much. Living in such a climate is almost a comfort thing at this point. I’m just so used to it. Plus, there’s all sorts of things to do down here. Besides visiting the beach of course, we have all sorts of theme parks and other attractions to enjoy. As much as I love soaking up the rays of the sun, I also understand that the heat can be dangerous. My husband isn’t even quite as fond as the weather that we get around here as I am, so we have quite the powerful air conditioning unit for our home. I feel like he uses it in excess, but he is the one paying the bill anyway. He’s also perfectly happy with making sure that we have regular maintenance visits and other service deals from our local HVAC business, whatever the cost. I don’t rely on the air conditioning unit as heavily as he does, but I can still certainly appreciate the fact that we always have the benefit of it. My husband is also thinking about getting a dehumidifier. He swears he can still detect the excess of humidity in our home even when the air conditioner is on max and it makes him uncomfortable. Did I mention he is from up north? He is clearly more used to a colder and drier climate. Well, if it ever gets too cold or dry in our home thanks to our A.C and dehumidifier units at least I can always sun myself outside!
