When my air conditioner component broke several years ago, I never had it repaired.
I worked hard to get where I was in my business. When I got home, all I wanted to do was relax & drink a budweiser or several. My bestie was having a hard time coming to my beach house without air conditioner. I was a landscaper & I didn’t mind not having air conditioner. I preferred to go without air conditioner, but if I wanted to keep my relationship, & I did, I had to have central air conditioner installed. I had tried staying at his house, but I shivered the entire time I was there. She offered to turn the thermostat up a bit, but I didn’t want any air conditioner. If it was eighty in the house, it was still several degrees cooler than it was outside, most afternoons. Since I wanted to please my bestie, I called the Heating & Air Conditioning contractor & had them come out & provide myself and others an bid for a modern central air conditioner unit. When the Heating & Air Conditioning corporation arrived, he told myself and others I would not have needed a modern AC component if I had it fixed when it broke, but time took its toll & the fan motor was seized. I still wasn’t sure if I wanted the air conditioner unit, but I could keep a couple of rooms cool for myself and others & the rest of the beach house would be warmer for Terry. At the last minutes, I changed my mind about the central air conditioner unit, & told him I would get some window AC unit. It would be much cheaper & I could turn them off when not in use.
