When Mom started slurring, & I could see his face was getting redder, I hustled them out of the house
I went to visit my mom & Mom last week. I was only in the beach house numerous minutes, when I was beginning to assume tired. I wasn’t one bit weary when I came over to the house, & I was standing at the living room table. Mom & Mom looked a bit weary, & my mind was yelling there was something wrong here. I asked if they had the furnace worked on before turning it on this year. All of us had a cool beginning to fall this year, Night time temperatures were in the upper thirties & low forties, & the afternoons were only in the fifties. It was rainy, damp, & angry if you didn’t heat. Mom said he had forgotten to call, but the Heating & Air Conditioning corporation assured them the furnace was in excellent shape last year. It was only several years old. My mind kept saying it was carbon monoxide poisoning, but I didn’t want to alarm mom & Mom. When Mom started slurring, & I could see his face was getting redder, I hustled them out of the house. I called the Heating & Air Conditioning contractor & the fire contractor because the beach house had to be aired out, even though they proworked on, I put them in my automobile & took them to the house. I was right about it being carbon monoxide poisoning, but only the fact that Mom kept a window open all the time, mom & Mom hadn’t succumbed to carbon monoxide. I had to take mom & Mom to the hospital to be inspected out, but they’ll be okay & the modern furnace will be installed in a week.
