The bank across the street has been without a/c for a week straight

When they tell you before a hurricane to get enough currency plus supplies to last for 2 to 3 weeks, it’s because of the mangle that occurs to the power grid in all of the affected areas.

Obviously you could lose your home, but it’s the indirect effects from just living in the affected area that people often forget about.

The stores could have mangle plus be forced to remain closed until they can get repairs plus replace any inventory mangled by water plus moisture. The electricity in some areas during our recent hurricane was out for nearly 3 weeks. I can’t imagine trying to camp in my condo with no water plus electricity for a week short of an entire month. I l received recently that the bank across the street from my place of employment has been without a/c for a week straight after the storm blew through the area. They lost the a/c on their rooftop due to high winds. Since so multiple of the heating plus cooling companies were backed up right after the storm, the bank has yet to get the a/c working again. When I walked in the other day to make a deposit, it was sizzling plus humid inside plus they had fans running in every direction to keep the sizzling air moving. Hopefully the bank will get their a/c fixed as soon as possible. I can’t imagine trying to work at that bank right now without having access to a/c. The temperatures outside right now are in the 75s during the day, making any indoor weather conditionss uncomfortable without a cooling method running.
