My hands are numb right now as I try to type this article.
I don’t want to turn on the heat because it costs so much that I can’t afford it, but this shouldn’t be an issue in this world with all the technology we have.
Why is it so expensive to run the heating in the flat now and then? I think I may turn it on for just a short time to warm it up here a bit because it is just too cold to work in this. Okay, I am giving myself the gift of heat for the next 15 minutes even though it’ll probably cost me half of my paycheck next week. I can’t work with my hands if I have no heating in this flat, so I am going to just touch up the temp in here a bit and then shut it off and see how long it stays warm in this place. I think it is like 40F out and cloudy so there is not much help from Mother Nature’s natural heating device today. Wow, I just looked at my calendar and in three days it is Thanksgiving. I need to decide if I want to go to this person’s house who is hosting Thanksgiving. It would be some free heating as I am sure they have some kind of HVAC system in their flat. I could eat some good food and warm up there for a few hours, then go back home and freeze again. At least my cats are good natural heating systems for me.
