My brother was to stay in a hotel during the trip.
The executives at work sent him to a training seminar, and he was gone for 8 days. My brother opted to stay extra days in the city, so he could go to a football game and see the museum. When he arrived at the hotel on Monday, my brother wanted to go to his room so he could get settled. I had a 7-minute drive and his legs were stiff and sore. His back was hurting too. The guy at the front desk seemed to be friendly. He asked my brother if he wanted to be in a room facing the street or the woods. My brother truthfully did not mind where the room was located, as long as it had air conditioning. It was 85° outside, and he was ready to check into my room so he could cool down. My brother’s room was located on the 5th floor. He grabbed all his bags and his briefcase, and took the elevator to the 5th floor. My brother found his room at the end of the hall. He used my key card to open up the door. As soon as he opened the door, he felt the cool air coming out of the room. The room was freezing cold. He left the front door open for a few minutes. My brother let some of the air out into the hallway. The thermostat on the wall furnace was set to 75°. My brother wanted the room to be cool, but 75° was way too cold. He adjusted the settings on the cooling system for a while until the room reached a comfortable temperature.
