As a 5th grade student I have been looking forward to today’s hike.
I absolutely never become especially happy about anything at college besides seeing my good buddies, however I care about hiking and this might turn into something absolutely cool.
This will be a class trip and I had my parents approval to go on it. They signed a paper letting me, however they were somewhat hesitant because they remembered what happened in the 4th grade trip. It wasn’t a hike, however a trip to the zoo and I fell and ended up cracking my tooth. I still sometimes feel the texture of the crack however I have a new tooth now and that is my mind playing tricks on me. It is kind of chilly outside today however I live near the college so I walk most of the time. On my walk I see the neighbors inviting a heating specialist in. I believe they are getting their gas heating equipment looked into as it’s going to be getting frigid soon. I’m blissful that we have a heating company within a few blocks from us because my worst fear is actually freezing to death. I suppose we are wonderful though because we just had heating repairs completed a few days ago. I arrived at college and the building and put my things in the locker and walked to class. I sat at my desk and looked up. This week it appears we have a totally different teacher. She slowly wrote her name on the chalkboard and I knew at that moment we were not going on our hike. I grew a little sad but she turned around and said there was no need to fret, I’m only here for a minute because your teacher is running late.
