Seven Things to do Then I go to Lunch With a Good Friend

I bought about a hundred bucks worth of food a couple weeks ago when I arrived here in the States, figuring it would last me about a week or so, yet I still have a whole bunch of it left because I’ve been eating at family and friends houses most of the nights for dinner.

I even worked some for a friend and made a couple hundred bucks, which basically covers my Uber rides and food that I bought while here on my three week vacation in the States.

So basically it just cost me a plane ticket using HVAC repair money from my job overseas. I will pay off that thousand dollar plane ticket over the next several months and avoid the interest charge that would accrue if I didn’t pay the thing off. I work for this local contractor overseas doing a lot of heating and cooling maintenance jobs for both residential and commercial properties. I like my job and work part time doing it, so I have a lot of free time left over to mess around with my drum and sing in my band. My dad made a lot of money with his HVAC business over the years and set us kids up nicely for retirement, which is nice because my HVAC systems work I do each week is just enough money to pay the bills each month. I don’t have any money saved for retirement, which is a bit scary because I am 55 years old, but between my mom and my dad I should be fine in the long haul.
