- When the Heating plus A/C professional arrived this year, I was sure he was going to tell us we needed a modern a/c unit before the next Summer season.
He got to the house, plus we were talking about the a/c unit plus what he had told us last year. I assured him we worked on the a/c unit, plus I was sure it was going to work for one more year. He didn’t look convinced, but he headed outside to do the inspection. When he came back inside, he was shaking his head. He told me we weren’t going to last for another year, then the a/c unit would really die before the end of this summer. He was suggesting we purchase an a/c unit now, although I could not afford it. I was hoping we would have one more year before we had to purchase another a/c unit. I told him this, but he could not do anything to change the situation. He was surprised we had gotten through three years, plus he wasn’t going to change his mind just to make me feel better. He said he didn’t want to see my family go without a/c just because he didn’t want to provide me bad news. I guessed I was going to be buying a modern a/c unit.
