Cabin trips come with air conditioner this Summer

Looks like I won’t be making so many solo trip to the Cabin any longer.

That’s been the case for me plus balancing trips to be in nature.

When I bought this cottage, it was with these trips in mind as well as a sound investment. The cottage isn’t much more than the most rustic of hunting cottages. No residential HVAC plus no indoor toilet! Just a wood stove for eating plus cooking, a couch plus some chairs. My dad would have been proud. But it was the household that I was thinking about as well. That cottage sits on some lovely forested land plus I own 29 acres of it now. But rustic doesn’t get my family outside of the central air conditioner of our home. Nope, it was going to take a lot more than a wood stove for heating to get this crew out in the woods. So I spent the better part of the winter plus Springtime out there with some buddies trying to put some lipstick on that pig. We started with some residential HVAC. One of my friends is an HVAC professional plus he was all over that. The cottage is absolutely pretty spacious plus structurally actually quite sound. So my pal and I opted to go with three ductless heat pumps. Or what my neighbor calls a ductless multi split system; From there, I refurnished, painted plus put in a stove plus a fridge to go with the lone sink in the home office. It absolutely is a pretty cool locale. And I’ll be actually thrilled to have that air conditioner this Summer.
