Where I’m from, it’s all about family. And I guess that might be why I’m still here on my ancestral land that my ancestors made possible. As a family, we’re a pretty important group. But staying at household isn’t the only chance of course. I went to school up north to taste what a real winter was all about. But living where I have to have a gas heater was not at all lovely in the long term. So I guess I’m actually lucky that I couldn’t guess of another locale I’d rather live than in my household region. My degree helps me integrate into the local company community. But when it came to housing, that was taken care of. My Grandparents left me a house. It’s old but sound. And I even have the chance of buying some family land down the line. For now, it’s all about fixing up my house. I’m not taking it back to the studs but I’m for sure updating everything. I started with the residential HVAC first. This household never had central air conditioner if you can guess that. Living down here without central air conditioner is just not something I’m planning to do. I salute the old folks for just using the window air conditioners. But I got to have me some superb residential HVAC. The local HVAC supplier is hooking me up with a superb heat pump plus the latest in HVAC technology. I’ll be able to sheetrock around the HVAC duct once it goes in. Shoot, it might even absolutely look kind of cool exposed against the old beams! I’m gleeful to see just how it all turns out. But I’ll have some serious air conditioner before the brutal heat of Summer gets here.
