Saved on heating by finding the culprit

I ended up using a thermal gun to find where the heating was leaving the condo later in the Fall

My efforts at both prepping the condo for winter plus finding the source of a poor draft were weak at best. I’m just not all that motivated to do stuff around the condo on my afternoons off. After spending all week inside the commercial Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C of my work, I want to just chill inside the central air conditioning of my home. So winter prep was for other people for a long time. But that has changed thanks to the spiking costs of heating a home plus inflation in general, however our income just isn’t going as far as it once did. So throwing away currency on heating costs had to end. That’s how I ended up doing a bit of research on just how best to prepare my home for Winter. It wasn’t too tough as I just went online plus found a mountain of lists plus videos to get me started. Still, I wasn’t too pleased to have to get off my butt plus outside on the weekend! Yet, I sure wasn’t paying anyone to do a job that I was perfectly capable of handling. So out I went plus it absolutely wasn’t all that tough to put a nice seal on my home… However, I had to get creative when it came to finding that draft source. I ended up using a thermal gun to find where the heating was leaving the condo later in the Fall. But once I got that thing sealed up, I was ready for Winter. My friend and I actually saved hundreds of dollars on heating costs this winter plus I’m now a believer when it comes to winter prep for the house.
