The HVAC tech wanted a milkshake.

My son was outside when the HVAC technician arrived.

I told him to come inside so he didn’t annoy the HVAC technician.

The HVAC tech told me he had three kids and there was no reason for him to go inside with me. He was used to people talking to him when he was working. About half an hour later, my son came inside and he said he needed a dollar. He heard the ice cream truck coming down the street and he wanted an ice pop. He looked at the dollar and said he might need two or three more. The HVAC technician wanted a milkshake. I looked at him and asked if he was sure. He told me the HVAC technician heard the truck before he did, and he said he could use a milkshake. I went outside and asked the HVAC technician what kind of milkshake he wanted. My son was behind me and the HVAC technician was looking at him. He started to say chocolate and then he changed it to strawberry. I turned in time to see my son giving him the thumbs up. I knew it was my son who wanted the milkshake, but I hoped the HVAC technician wanted the ice pop. I didn’t eat ice cream, and two things was too much for my son to eat. I heard the HVAC technician laughing when I went out front to buy the ice cream. My son told him thanks for saving him. If the HVAC tech wasn’t there, mom wouldn’t be buying him a milkshake right now.
