My wife was really upset when the HVAC system didn’t work well. She called the HVAC company twice, but they weren’t able to make the repairs. It seemed the furnace just got worse, but there was no difference in the air conditioning. My husband was getting upset with all the HVAC bills, but no satisfaction. He finally got angry and told me he was going to work on the HVAC system. No one can repair the HVAC system better than me, is what he told me. He was an HVAC technician when we were younger, but we had been retired for almost ten years. I wasn’t sure he could still make repairs to the HVAC system, since it had been so long since he touched one. He was an excellent HVAC technician when he was working, but I worried about him now. I walked away and found his old tools, hoping it would give him some confidence, but he wasn’t lacking in confidence. He headed outside and started working on the air conditioning unit. He asked me to call the home center and see if they had any fans for the air conditioning unit. He gave me the numbers and I went inside to put in the order. We couldn’t get it for two days, but I ordered. As far as the furnace, all it needed was a new air filter and some serious cleaning. I had never been more proud of my husband than I was when he repaired the HVAC system for us. He was happy with his work and said he was thinking about working in the senior’s community on their HVAC systems.
