Money might not be everything, but it can really help you stay happier and more comfortable when you have some.
- This year, I ended up having to buy a new air conditioning system for our house and I know for a fact that I’m happier with a new A/C than without one! I would not have been able to replace the broken air conditioning system in my house if I didn’t have a little bit of extra money saved up in the bank for just such things.
I always try to keep some money in the bank for issues like that that come up here and there around the house. I always feel like homeowners should have a little slush fund here and there that they can use to fix all of the things that tear up around the house. If you are a homeowner, then you know that there is always something going on that you need to repair around the house. That is just how it is whenever you own a property. The HVAC system in the house has really done well for me up to this point, though. When the air conditioning tore up, I was a little bit surprised because I had never had an issue with it before at all. I know that I can’t live without central air conditioning during the summers that we have around here, so I decided to just go ahead and get a brand new high efficiency A/C unit to replace my old one. I think I will be happy with this particular unit this summer.
