I married an HVAC technician.

I didn’t know who I was going to meet when I went on a blind date. My sister told me he was a cousin of her boyfriends and a really nice guy. I hated blind dates because the person was never as good as he was made out to be. I was really hesitant when that was all my sister had to say. I was sure he was going to be a real geek since she said he was a really nice guy. I tried to talk her out of asking him to go with us, but she wasn’t having any of it. She told me if I embarrassed her by not showing up, she wouldn’t let me be in her wedding. That wasn’t much of a threat, but my being there meant a lot to her. When my sister picked me up, she had me get into the back seat with her fiance’s cousin. I didn’t know what to say, so I sat on my side of the seat and looked out the window. My sister introduced him as Michael and told me he was an HVAC technician. I looked at him and said it was nice to meet him and asked if he liked being an HVAC technician? He said yes and nothing more. An hour later, my sister left us in the car, and he told me I didn’t need to like him, but I could be civil. I was going to yell, but all I could do was laugh. The HVAC technician was telling me I was rude. He was still telling me I was the rudest girl he had ever met, long after I married the miserable old HVAC technician.
