Grocery shopping is my time to get away from family and my kids.
I love to shop and maybe run into that one friend but overall this is the place I decompress. I typically do my shopping on a Saturday morning and my husband takes care of the kids. Well, he better take care of those kids, he works a ton during the week and I’m home taking care of them and serving every need they have till they go to bed. Today, the store wasn’t feeling that great, whoever is taking care of the temperature control isn’t doing a great job. It’s hot and stuffy in here and it’s like the air conditioning isn’t on. This is supposed to be the place where I relax and have no stress, but this disgusting feeling of warmth is just not for me. I’ve already shopped in aisles 17 and 16. I like to shop from the high number to the lowest. All the refrigerated and frozen goods are in aisles 1 through 3. As I turned to aisle 15 I saw an HVAC technician in the corner of my eye. I see that there is a far greater issue going on here and that would explain the temperature control not being in good standing. Just this stinks, I hope he gets it fixed sooner than later. I still have a ton of aisles to go down and I know this woman will not be feeling this. I can already feel the sweat coming and if I start sweating, I may just leave a half-full grocery cart in the store and head home.
