After getting married & buying our first house, my partner & I felt overwhelmed by the amount of money that goes into turning a house into the dwelling you truly want for your family. One of the largest troubles my friend and I faced while learning that our first dwelling wasn’t perfect, was that there was mold in the walls of the powder rooms. This was not detected during the inspection & my friend and I felt like my friend and I had been jipped out of a wonderful inspection. It seemed like each week my friend and I were learning something unpleasant about the house. First the mold, & then the rats. Finally, my friend and I learned that our Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system had not been ran tests on by the previous owners. My buddy and I were almost ready to give up on everything & sell the house! When my birthday came around, my friend and I had all of our friends & family over for supper. They were all aware of how defeated my friend and I felt about the troubles with the house. When I opened a card that one of my friends brought over, the entire group went silent. I thought that was strange, however when I opened the card, I found out why. All of our friends & family had chipped in to get us a gift card for a new Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system! This was the best birthday gift I had ever acquired. It was so kind & thoughtful of my friends & family to do this for us. They knew how frustrated my friend and I were that my friend and I would be spending all of this money on a new Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system, so they decided to buy it for us.
