Groundhog Day is one of my favorite days because as the old wives tale says if the groundhog sees his shadow and goes back into his hole there is 6 more weeks of winter.
If the groundhog doesn’t see his shadow then spring will be here sooner.
Well this year the groundhog did end up seeing a shadow so is now told that there’s going to be a longer winter. Since it’s supposedly going to be a longer winter I need to find out if my HVAC system is ready to take on more colder temperatures. I realized that I didn’t have an HVAC system tune-up yet so I decided to call my HVAC technician to schedule an appointment. I always find tune-ups to be important because I have invested a lot of money in my HVAC system and if anything happens to it I don’t want that money to go down the drain. I’m also concerned about the safety and health of my family. If anything happens to my HVAC system and something drastic happens I couldn’t live with myself. Plus it’s always important to find the problem before the heat shuts off in the middle of a snowstorm or when there’s really frigid temperatures. My HVAC company does not offer 24/7 Emergency Services. If I do call my HVAC technician in the middle of the night there is an extra service fee that they will charge me. That is why I like to keep up with the maintenance of my HVAC system so I’m not paying extra fees.
