Bees are amazing creatures, don’t get me wrong.
I mean, not only do they produce honey that has some healthy qualities, they truly are superb “engineers” and they make perfect hexagonal wax cells where the queen lays all her eggs.
They “dance” to communicate where that savory patch of clover is going to be located. There is zero unemployment & every bee is born into this world with a purpose, some of those being HVAC tech bees. Now, bees like to keep their hive warm, at around 90° F, so for us humans, who like it cooler, we should be thankful that current air conditioning & central Heating, Ventilation, & A/C systems are present in most households. If every one of us were more like bees, our Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system would be quite chaotic, full of bees, and would certainly lead to some discontent. See, as the queen, you would have to station one or 2 ladies nears the doors with massive hand fans. If that did not task a few of your “workers” would go out and find a local “watering hole” & gorge themselves full with water or perhaps beer at Joe’s bar down the street… Whenever they returned to the beach house the engorged workers would regurgitate the fresh liquid only to have others in the condo slurp up the regurgitated liquid & run their way around the condo spitting it up all over the place allowing the process of evaporation to cool the dwelling. I think every one of us all can stop and agree that a smooth-running Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system is going to be a much better way to keep the condo cool. I truly think the bees need running water in their hives as well.
