This year for our anniversary, our boy bought me tickets to see the Sox play, which was super exciting.
I was really excited, because it was opening month and a homefield game… Since it was an anniversary surprise, I did not have all that much time to ask for a full morning off work.
I told our boss as soon as I could on Wednesday morning that I needed to be off work early on Monday for the game, then he gave me a difficult time about the entire request and said that he would do his best! Every day leading up to our anniversary were all slow mornings. I was condo by 4 on each 1 of those evenings, and I easily could have been condo even earlier… but then of course Monday was much busier, because that was the day of the big game. My boss located many Heating plus Air Conditioning repair jobs on my schedule, in particular, that morning. One job was to repair an air conditioner and another massive job was an A/C maintenance appointment for a department store. The final job was a simple window air conditioner replacement service, despite the fact that I did not assume I would get out without encountering any complications. I did our best to work thoroughly and efficiently throughout the morning so I could finish on time. Thank goodness the AC replacement job was simple, because I was stuck in traffic, and seriously, I arrived at the game just as the first pitch was thrown.
