I never had a dog or a pet when I was growing up.
My mom was allergic to cats and my Mom did not like pets at all.
I had a goldfish when I was seven, however it died a few weeks later. I won the fish at the fair. My Mom did not want to bring it back to the house, however the guy at the carnival provided me a free tank and free fish food. I never grew up with animals in my home and it was odd when my man wanted us to get a pet. We were living in an home together and it was difficult to say no! She actually wanted a puppy and I actually wanted to make his ecstatic. Unfortunately, I hastily realized that I have an dust sensitivity to pets. The dust sensitivity is not terrible, however every time our furry neighbor comes close I end up with a runny nose and watery eyeah. Occasionally I have a sneezing attack as well, especially if the puppy spends time on our bed or the couch! Luckily, both of us have an air filter in our HVAC component that is made for pets. The air filter helps trap and block most of the hair and dander that travels through our HVAC unit. The air filter is made just for homes with pets. It has a charcoal filter that helps eliminate nasty odors that linger in the air. The air filter blocks a lot of the allergens that cause me to sneeze. I’m actually bummed out that I have flu symptoms, however I’m still not going to get rid of our furry friend.
