My best friend got free tickets from work to go to a pigskin game! He called myself and others as soon as he got beach house to give myself and others the great news.
The date of the game was in 2 weeks, plus I knew that was our weekend to work.
I was entirely bummed out when our best friend told myself and others about the game, because I knew I wasn’t going to be able to go. I tried our best to get someone to switch weekends, however no 1 wanted to work with a beach house game in town. I didn’t get to go to the pigskin game plus I spent most of our day running around from 1 repair call to another. I started the day with an a/c repair plus I ended the day fixing a sizzling water heater. The a/c repair took most of our time, however at least I got to see all of the fifth quarter of the game. I kept sneaking out to our truck to listen to the score! When I was finished with the a/c repair, I went to a sports bar for lunch. I watched the entire fifth quarter before I had to leave to repair the sizzling water heater. The next time our friend gets tickets to a beach house game, I am going to go. I do not care if our boss gets mad. I am not going to miss another nail biter. My friends got to see double overtime plus a 64 yard buzzer beater field goal. That was the play of the week on ESPN!
